My background as a former collegiate soccer player has shaped my discipline, competitiveness, and team-first mindset.Through my clinical experience, I’ve developed strong skills in patient care, communication, and collaboration with healthcare providers in fast-paced environments. BACKGROUND

Credentials & Experience

  • Performing patient intake for various medical and musculoskeletal conditions. This includes history of condition or injury, chief complaint, assessment of pain level, completion and/or review of past medical history, family history, social history, and medication.
  • Partnering directly with orthopedic surgeons and various care teams in high volume clinics, supporting, evaluating, treatment planning and post operative care.
  • Carrying out 30-45+ patient interactions daily, while maintaining patient centered care and delivering quality clinical support.
  • Involved in clinical shared governance directed towards patient satisfaction to promote positive patient outcomes.
  • Executing two week post operative clinics for patients status post knee, hip and shoulder.
  • Managing triage duties and responsibilities which include; prioritizing and routing patients to receive medical care or treatment, assessing and treating patients based on patient concerns and questions. Documenting patient conditions, treatments and medications.
  • Delivering pre/post operative education instructions for patients consented/signed up for surgery.
  • Being able to perform physical examinations per patient history and chief complaint. This includes but is not limited to palpation of the affected area and unaffected area, range of motion testing, strength testing, manual muscle testing, dynamic muscle testing, ligamentous or stress testing
  • Preparing for and assisting physicians with minor surgical procedures, including preparation of patient, treatment site, and medications.
  • Administration chart prepping for assigned physician.
  • Providing proper post-operative wound care and education, removal of sutures and dressing changes to post-surgical patients, cast or splint, and/or DME application as directed by the attending physician.
  • Documenting all aspects of evaluation, testing, and supply usage within the Electronic Health Record (Epic).
  • Assuring continuity of care through effective decision-making by determining appropriate scheduling through patient access services.
